I've recently had the opportunity to meet with the trade delegation of the Romania-Singapore Chamber of Commerce. During our meeting, I was pleased to witness the mutual openness towards investment from Singapore in Romania, and the enthusiasm of the companies who were eager to learn more about the business environment and opportunities present in Romania. The trade delegation included representatives from a diverse range of companies, including those in the technology and innovation sectors. They were joined in their visit by Enterprise Singapore, the country's investment promotion agency, as well as Singapore Tech, the agency responsible for promoting investment in technology. According to available data, Singapore is one of the world's leading technology hubs, with a strong track record in areas such as fintech, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. This makes them a valuable partner for Romania as it seeks to develop its own technology and innovation industries. I
